Ranetta Kinney has lived and worked in Teton Valley for the past 10 years. She is running for a school board position in Zone 4 on November 4th. Currently, she works as the Program Coordinator at ABC, bringing a strong background in preschool education, birth education/coaching, and program administration. 

Over the last 20+ years, Ranetta has gained experience working in various nonprofits, public schools, and private educational institutions across Minnesota, Colorado, Jackson, and Teton Valley. She holds certifications in board governance, has completed training in Love and Logic, and has taken courses in communications and youth leadership. Ranetta has served on multiple boards over the last 15 years.

Ranetta is dedicated to creating an environment where everyone feels loved, safe, supported, and welcomed. She believes that by building and emphasizing shared principles among teachers, families, students, administrators, and board members, they can foster a strong and supportive community where all members feel secure, connected, and valued.

When she’s not working or volunteering, Ranetta enjoys spending time outdoors with her four children, baking, and relaxing with her husband.
